Together, we can make a difference.

Morning shows the day.

As we continue documenting our work through pictures, videos, and stories, we are truly grateful for the generous support of our big brother and senior advisor Karma Tenzing Nyangmi, who gifted us essential media equipment a GoPro, lights, spare batteries, and a Sony Alpha a6500 mirrorless camera.
Thank you, big brother, for your constant encouragement and generosity.
With the right tools and the right intentions, together we can make a difference.

Joining Hands for a Change – First Project
Where It All Began: Nuwakot Gorkha Kavre, 2015
The Immediate Response
In April 2015, when Nepal trembled, a small group of young volunteers stepped forward in Nuwakot, Gorkha & Kavre District to help earthquake-affected families.
Challenges Faced
Steep terrains, limited resources, and emotional stress tested the volunteers’ resolve, but their spirit to serve remained unbroken.
Lives Touched
Orphaned children found shelter, families received food and medical aid, and a community spirit of hope began to bloom amidst devastation.
The Spark of a Movement
This initial effort inspired formal organization, leading to the official registration of Joining Hands for a Change in December 2015.
Relief. Restore. Rebuild.
Our guiding principle since day one, driving everything we do from disaster recovery to education, environmental restoration, and community empowerment.
